Course description:

This 5-hour course is intended for reduced reporting agencies and will cover the following areas of National Transit Database topics:

  • Overview of the Form: We will present a screenshot of the NTD form and discuss, as necessary, how data is entered
  • Reporting Concepts: We will briefly summarize concepts that address what must or must not be reported (for example, contract criteria for Contractual relationship B-30 form) and data reporting approach (for example, accrual accounting for the Reduced Reporting RR-20 form)
  • Key Data Definitions: We will define the key data items reported in the forms (for example, stations for the Stations and Maintenance Facilities A-10 form). We will give special attention to terms that in FTA's experience are often misunderstood by reporters.
