This session will focus on legal issues, including policies and procedures, to ensure your operators and safety sensitive staff are properly rested and physically qualified for their duties.  Includes discussion on the role of dispatchers, ensuring “on-duty” work is defined, and a look ahead of possible FTA regulations.

Tuesday, December 10 from 9 AM - 10 AM: Business Continuity and Catastrophic Loss (Click here to register)

This session will provide samples of policies and procedures used by various transit authorities across the country, developed in conjunction with TSA materials, for various large losses or service interruptions.  The session will provide strategies for preparedness for external and internal threats to an organization’s ability to provide services in the face of disasters or catastrophic events.

The supervisor training sessions focus on practical experience, industry knowledge and complex question/answer sessions involving every-day workforce situations. Nagy's training presentations are broken down in a format to meet the audience's needs. 

 

Ms. Nagy is the President and Managing partner of Nagy Law Offices in Wyomissing and Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She represents multiple municipal clients including second class townships (including Longswamp Township and Maxatawny Township in Berks County), municipal transit authorities and sewer authorities. She also represents private development companies for zoning and land development issues and for appellate litigation. Ms. Nagy has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Federal Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court on behalf of her municipal clients. Her practice is concentrated in the area of land use and municipal law and municipal insurance defense. Ms. Nagy received a B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh, M.A. Degree from Kutztown University and graduated from Villanova Law School.

Ms. Nagy also has been appointed to the Joint State Government Commission on Real Estate which has been formed to advise the legislature on various land use and real estate matters. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Home Builders and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
