TAM's annual conference is going virtual on September 15-17! Traditionally, this conference has been an opportunity for TAM members to gather and discuss their current operational challenges, learn new ideas from their peers and discuss ways in which their services could be improved. This virtual conference will continue these important traditions and give TAM transit providers the opportunities to learn about concepts from managing employee morale to best electric bus practices.

We are also looking for sponsors for this event. Click on the banner below for more information!

All of our TAM sponsored sessions will be available free to all TAM members to register and attend. In addition, the Maryland Transit Administration will be sponsoring two sessions on Thursday, September 16 for the locally operated transit systems and 5310 grant recipients.

We have done our best to arrange this conference in such a way as to accommodate our members expressed wishes regarding scheduling. Each conference day will start at 9 AM and will end by 2 PM, with adequate breaks interspersed to allow you a break from your computer. We will be posting a draft schedule shortly, and registration will open in August.

We are still accepting submissions for our new webinar series here.

Annual Award nominations are being accepted and encouraged, as we believe recognizing excellence in community transportation is more important than ever this year.  Be sure to check out the new COVID-19 Essential & Innovation Awards categories. The awards will be announced and virtually presented on our General Meeting on Wednesday, September 16. For more information, and to submit a nomination, click here.

We appreciate all that you do and are determined to continue to serve you during this difficult time!
